Privacy Policy

We collect only what is necessary to operate Vallio:

• Account information — name and email address provided during sign-up (via Apple, Google, or email/password).
• Match & game data — scores, opponents, courts, ratings, and results you log in the app. This data belongs to you.
• Location data — approximate location used to suggest nearby courts, with your permission. We do not continuously track your location.
• Device & usage data — device type, OS version, crash logs, and anonymized analytics collected while using the app.
• Payment information — subscription status managed by the app stores or our web checkout provider. We never receive or store card numbers.
• Referral data — your referral code, which code you applied, and whether a referral qualified, if you take part in the Referral Program.

We use your information to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve Vallio.
• Sync your match history, ratings, and preferences across your devices.
• Show you nearby courts and player connections based on your location, when permitted.
• Send account notifications and, where you opt in, game reminders and community updates.
• Process and manage your subscription.
• Operate the Referral Program — match a code to the person who shared it, issue rewards, and prevent abuse.
• Detect and prevent fraud, cheating, harassment, and abuse.
• Comply with applicable laws and legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. We share data only in these limited cases:

• With other users — when you choose to make something visible, such as your public profile, your ratings, messages you send, and games you join.
• With service providers — the vendors that operate parts of the app on our behalf, covering cloud hosting and storage, crash reporting and analytics, and subscription and payment processing. Each receives only what it needs to perform that service, may use it only to provide that service to us, and may not use it for its own purposes.
• Legal requirements — if required by court order, law enforcement, or to protect our rights and user safety.
• Business transfers — in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your data may transfer to the successor entity, which remains bound by this policy.

The court finder uses your device location to show nearby courts. Location access is optional and can be disabled in your device settings at any time. We do not store precise GPS coordinates or share location data with third parties.

GameSetPickle LLC is based in the United States, and we store and process data there. Vallio is available in the United States and Canada. If you use Vallio from outside the United States, your information is transferred to and processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your own country.

Everyone. You may:

• Access, correct, or delete your account at any time in the app or by contacting us.
• Disable location access in your device settings.
• Turn off push notifications in your device settings.
• Opt out of marketing emails with one click.
• Stop taking part in the Referral Program at any time, and ask us to delete the referral data associated with your account.
• Request deletion of all your data by emailing support@vallio.io.

California residents (CCPA/CPRA). You have the right to know what personal information we collect and share, the right to delete it, the right to correct it, the right to opt out of its "sale" or sharing (we do neither), and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

Canadian residents (PIPEDA and provincial laws). You have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to request corrections, to request deletion, and to withdraw consent to processing at any time.

To exercise any of these rights, use the in-app tools or email support@vallio.io. We respond within 30 days, or the timeframe required by your local law. We will not ask you for anything beyond what we need to verify your identity.

We keep your data only as long as needed for the purposes described above, or as required by law. Inactive accounts are deleted or anonymized after 24 months. Referral records are kept for up to 12 months after a referral is settled, or longer where needed for accounting or legal purposes. Deleting your account removes your personal information; anonymized match records that no longer identify you may be retained.

We use industry-standard protections, including encryption in transit and at rest, and access controls limiting which staff can reach production data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

Vallio is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us at support@vallio.io and we will delete it promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notice at least 30 days before they take effect, unless a change is required immediately by law. The updated policy is posted on this page with a revised effective date and version. Continued use of Vallio after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
