Support
The in-app support section covers common questions.
If your question is about how something works rather than something being broken, these docs are usually faster — start with the FAQ, or When Something Looks Wrong if a number looks off.
Leave feedback
There's a feedback form in the app, and it reaches the people building it.
Worth using for:
- ›Something's broken — wrong PaddleRank, a queue that misbehaved, a screen that won't load
- ›Something's confusing — a screen that didn't make sense is a defect too
- ›A feature you want
- ›A venue problem that reviews can't fix — wrong hours, closed courts, incorrect access type
Writing a useful report
Three things make a report actionable:
- ›What you expected
- ›What happened
- ›How to get there
"My rating is wrong" is hard to act on. "I won a doubles game at [venue] on Tuesday against two registered players and my PaddleRank didn't change" is something someone can look up.
For a game problem, include which game — venue, opponents, roughly when. For an event, which event.
Before reporting a PaddleRank problem
Most reports come down to one of a few known causes, and the biggest by far is the registration rule: both teams need at least one registered player. A game against guests records normally but awards nothing.
When Something Looks Wrong walks through the rest. Worth five minutes first — and if it isn't one of those, your report is more useful for having ruled them out.
Reporting players or content
The app has reporting for inappropriate behavior and content. Reports are reviewed.
Billing
For a failed purchase, a wrong charge, or a subscription Restore won't recover, get in touch with your account email and a description.
Refunds for app store purchases go through Apple or Google under their own policies, since they process the payment. See Managing Your Subscription.
Venue corrections
For venue data that's wrong rather than missing, reviews and prompts are the fastest fix — they're how venue profiles get built in the first place. See Reviews & Prompts.
Use support for problems those can't address.
