Big Board

Big Board turns a live match into a landscape display designed to be read from across a court.

What it is

The same match, re-laid-out for distance. Large score, clear team names, high contrast — legible from the far baseline rather than from arm's length.

Turn a phone or tablet sideways, prop it against the fence, and everyone can see the score without asking.

Part of Champion

Big Board is a Champion feature. Tap BOARD on a free account and you'll be shown what it is and what it costs, rather than finding the button missing.

Once a board is running it stays running. Nothing about it checks your subscription mid-match, so a game that started on the board finishes on the board.

When it's useful

A court with spectators. Anyone watching can follow along without interrupting.

A match where nobody wants to hold a phone. Prop it up, tap between rallies, keep playing.

A tablet as a courtside scoreboard. An old tablet on a stand becomes permanent court infrastructure.

Events. People waiting on their next match can check a court in passing.

What it shows

The live state of the match: score, teams, serve, and timeouts if your rules allow them.

It's the same underlying match as the standard view — not a separate mode you commit to. Switching in or out mid-match changes nothing about the score or the result.

Scoring from it

You still score from the same device. The layout is optimized for reading at distance, so the targets are large and easy to hit without looking closely.

If you'd rather score from your wrist and use a device purely as the display, watch scoring pairs well with this — watch in hand, tablet on the fence.

Any kind of match

Works for all four kinds — quick, venue, event, and league. Nothing about it is restricted to organized play.
