The App at a Glance
Vallio has four tabs. Knowing what each one owns makes everything else easier to find.
Home
Your feed and your social life. Recent games, what your rivals are doing, challenge progress, and competition activity all surface here.
Home also holds posts, stories, chat, notifications, and search.
Covered in Social.
Find
Everything about where to play. Venues near you, hot venues, courts you've played recently, and the map.
Tapping into a venue gets you its profile — hours, access type, amenities, contact details — and its courts. Courts are where the queue and game type voting live.
Covered in Find & Venues and Courts.
Compete
Organized play and rankings, in five tabs:
- ›Leaders — world and friend leaderboards
- ›Explore — finding events and leagues near you
- ›Events — one-off organized competitions
- ›Leagues — events that run in seasons
- ›Rivals — your head-to-head records
Covered in Compete.
Profile
You. Your player profile, your stats, your friends list — and the Player Hub, which holds your dashboard, achievements, challenges, and milestones.
Account settings, subscription, notifications, and referrals live here too.
Covered in Player Hub and Account & Settings.
The side menu
Alongside the four tabs there's a side menu with direct links to Account, Referral Program, Dashboard, Rivals, Settings, and My Venues.
Mostly shortcuts to places reachable through the tabs — useful once you know where you're going.
Where games happen
Games aren't a tab. You start one from wherever you are:
- ›From Home, for a quick game
- ›From a court in Find, for a venue game
- ›From an event or league match in Compete
The scoring experience is the same in all three. What differs is the kind of game it becomes — see The Four Kinds of Game.
In-app explainers
Several screens have an info button that opens a short explainer for that feature — PaddleRank, the queue, challenges, milestones, achievements, the dashboard, events, and starting a game.
They're the fastest answer when you're mid-game and need one. These docs are the longer version.
