Upgrade prompts appear in several places, which makes the overall picture hard to see from any one of them. This page collects all of it.

What Champion adds
Stats and history
Every stat on your Dashboard — Record and Scoring are free; the eight groups past them are Champion. That's Signature Wins, Competition, How Games Ended, Record By Setting, Where You Play, Serving & Faults, Momentum, and Time On Court. See Your Dashboard.
Trends — the second view on the Dashboard, showing which way your game is moving rather than where it currently sits.
Your full match archive — Rookie shows the last 14 days in the match log and the Player Hub feed. Champion opens everything back to your first match. Nothing is deleted either way; the window is what changes.
Rankings
Singles and Doubles PaddleRank. Rookie sees your Overall rank — one of the six boards. Champion sees all of them, on the Leaderboard tab and in the stat band on Home and your Hub header. See Leaderboards.
Rivals
The breakdown behind the record. Who your rivals are, your win–loss against each and the last result stay free — that part is the point of the feature. Champion opens what's underneath: win rate, average margin, current and best streaks, points for and against, time on court together, and how intense the rivalry is. See Rivals.
On the court
Big Board — turn a phone or tablet sideways during a match and it becomes a court-side scoreboard readable from the far baseline. It works on a phone; it was built for a tablet stood against the fence. See Big Board.
Organizing
Bigger competitions — 8 teams on 2 courts, rather than 4 on 1.
More at once — three events and three leagues running simultaneously, rather than one of each.
A weekend under one event — up to three tournaments in an event, scheduled within three days of each other.
Next season lined up early — start registration for the next season while the current one is still being played.
Where you'll actually run into it
The prompts you're most likely to hit, in rough order:
- ›Singles or Doubles on the leaderboard — the board blurs with the tier and price on it
- ›The Dashboard past Scoring — one banner, then the rest of the groups blurred
- ›Trends — the Dashboard's second tab carries a padlock
- ›The end of your match log — a note when you reach the 14-day mark
- ›Expanding a rival — the record stays, the breakdown blurs
- ›Tapping BOARD during a match
- ›Creating a second event while one is already running
The honest summary
Champion divides along two lines: depth and scale.
Everything is still being recorded on Rookie — your matches, ratings, milestones and achievements all accrue normally, and nothing is thrown away when a window closes. Champion opens the archive and the analysis, and lets you run bigger competitions rather than only small ones.
Nothing about Champion affects how you earn PaddleRank. There's no rating advantage to paying.
Nothing that stops you playing is ever behind the paywall — scorekeeping, queueing, and joining a competition are free permanently.
Deciding
Play on Rookie for a few weeks. You'll know when you want Champion, and it'll be one of two moments: wanting a number the app won't show you, or wanting to organize something bigger than a pickup game.
Both are obvious when they arrive and neither is predictable beforehand.
